A strong quality gelding to mature around 16.2hh, with a perfect elegant head and good limbs. He as uphill paces with a super trot you have to see for yourselves. He is full of presence and good attitude, with a kind nature, is by far one for the future.

Romeo is full brother to Myspires Apache Warrior (Louis) who was awarded a First Premium for eventing in 2009 and 2010 at the BEF Futurity Evaluations. Louis sold to Kathleen Renner who will be competing him in BD and BE in the future.

Myspires Great Expectation is a half brother (out of the same dam), he sold to Jen Mulcahy who will show him in-hand as a youngster and aim him at BE in the future.

He is also half brother to Myspires Revolution (by the same sire) who was second in the country for showjumping as a 3 year old in the 2012 BEF Futurity Evaluations.

Romeo is by the popular stallion Stanhopes Diddicoy who himself is proven in Eventing, Showjumping, Dressage and Showing. He is the only coloured stallion to be placed in Internatinal Dressage for Great Britain. He finished in the top 12 at Burghly Young Event Horse Championships, was 3rd in Blenheim Open Championships of Dressage and Showjumping. As well as this he has won many Showing Championships including Royal Windsor, Hickstead and Gt.Yorkshire.

Stanhopes Diddicoy has produced many Top Class off spring in all disciplines, one of which being the Advanced Eventer Peter Shambles winner of a gold medal in North American Y.R.Championships. Romeo was entered into the Dressage section at the BEF Futurity's as a foal, he was awarded a Higher First Premium with a score of 8.54. He scored 9s for the vet score and correctness of trot for dressage. The vet said he was "The best moving foal of the day", and the Judges said he has a "Super drive off of hind limb with good ground cover". They also said he has "Strong limbs, good top line, a well balanced canter and good bold forward thinking attitude" which for attitude gave him a FAB mark of 9.5. This colt really does have stardom written all over him!Romeo sold to Nic Peek as a 16 month old colt, he was then gelded. Nic showed him once as a 3 year old in a hunter class at a local show which he WON! He is being aimed at British Dressage and British Eventing in the future which im sure he will excel at!

Romeo has now started his ridden journey, being broken in in June 2014 and proving himself to be a delight to work with. Has not put a hoof wrong, walk, trot and cantering as well as hacking out and enjoying the new surroundings. He will be taken out to his first small outing shortly!
